USA: Violent Crime Rate per 100,000 of population by State, 2012 (sorted)

Note: The violent crime rate includes murder, forcible rape, robbery and aggravated assault. For practical reasons the figure does not include Puerto Rico with a violent crime rate of 26.2 per 100,000 of the population (in 2010), which is twenty-four times the violent crime rate of New Hampshire (in 2012).
